This past week we read How full is your bucket? and tried our hand at writing compliments to our classmates and putting them in their buckets.
There were so many smiles! Kindness truly is contagious. :)
In keeping with our celebration of Dot Day the week before last week, and author Peter H. Reynolds, we also read another one of his books, Sky Color. We decided to paint our own pictures with our own versions of sky colours.
We are so creative!
Whenever we get an opportunity, we love to build new things
and share them with each other. Even though we have to take them apart when we're done so we can build again, we can always capture them here in photos.
We are so happy to welcome new students to our school and our classroom is no exception! We were thrilled for Lily, Elizabeth, Alrik and Adalyn to be able to share an ice cream treat with Mr. Samuel and Mrs. Gonsalvez to officially welcome them to the Kinosayo Family!
What a beautiful day on Friday for the Staff versus Grade 6's in a game of soccer!
We enjoyed cheering everyone on and also spending a
little extra time at the playground...
We had our first library visit on Tuesday last week!
Wow, Mrs. Sutton! The library looks amazing! We can't wait to come back this Tuesday (and every Tuesday after that). :)
We also enjoyed our first music classes with Mrs. Liska...
We are so excited to experience music with her this year!
