Christmas may be over, but we can still dream about those yummy pancakes!!
We had a lot of fun playing Christmas Bingo earlier in the week! And thankfully, the children who didn't receive their gifts last week, made it back to school to collect their gifts before the week was over. We really hope you enjoyed the gift that the children brought home for you. They worked really hard on it! :)
On December 13th, St. Lucia is celebrated in Sweden. We had fun learning about it and making our crowns to wear.
I was so happy to be back at school on Friday! Just in time to bring in the Christmas gifts from Mrs. Peric, Miss Jacky and I. Everyone could hardly contain their excitement, but they did a great job of waiting until snack time to open them.
After the excitement of opening our gifts, we met with our Grade 4 Buddies to play games before morning recess. Right before that we had our assembly and caroling so it was a really fun morning!
To finish the day on Friday we enjoyed a fashion show featuring all of the Lost and Found items. Hans and the show are always great crowd pleasers! If your child is missing anything, please check out the lost and found early this week as any leftover items will be donated.
We have been busy getting in the holiday spirit in our classroom this past week! One of the things we did was finish decorating our classroom tree. :)
Many of us had fun showing off our holiday gear on Wednesday!
We also had the excitement of Santa's Workshop right next door to our classroom this week, including our shopping time for those of us who wanted to participate on Thursday morning. Many thanks to the KPA and all of our amazing volunteers who made this happen for us this year!
And, let's not forget that we also performed on Friday morning followed by our first caroling sing along! What a week! :)
